Frequently Asked Questions

  • I want to offer a different type of rehab that bridges the gap between “traditional” physical therapy and fitness. Too often, people are discharged from physical therapy but still need guidance on returning to the gym, group fitness class or sport. When you work with me, we will spend less time on the treatment table and more time getting you moving better and comfortable with lifting weights. My goal is to set you up so that in the future you feel confident being independent in the gym or back playing your sport.

  • I consider “performance” anything from everyday tasks like gardening, playing with grandkids and cleaning house to higher levels of activity like running, weightlifting and other sports. Performance physical therapy and training is for all levels. My goal is to help you perform better in your life - whatever that might be!

  • In order to provide my services without the restraints of insurance, I am out-of-network with ALL insurance companies. Insurance companies have numerous restrictions that affect the way I can provide the unique experience I want to give you.

At this time I am NOT providing billing information for you to submit to your insurance company, however you may be able to use your FSA/HSA for services. Please contact your insurance provider.

Beth Ansley Fitness & Performance, PLLC is not a Medicare Provider, so law prevents service for those with Medicare coverage for “normally covered services”. If you are covered by Medicare, but would like to talk about your options, please contact me.

  • Appointment lengths vary based on the service. Cupping appointment are 30 minutes. Performance PT and virtual movement coaching sessions range from 45-60 minutes based on what your provider determines is appropriate for you.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that gives access to the area you need to address in our session (i.e. if you have knee pain, wear shorts or loose pants). You should also feel comfortable moving/working out so no flip flops or jeans (unless you like squatting in jeans!).

  • TrueCoach is an online platform that I use for individual fitness programming that allows me to send you custom workouts each week with descriptions and videos. We can communicate with each other within the app and you are able to send videos back to me to check your form so I can give you feedback.

  • The great thing about ID programming is that I can create custom workouts based on the equipment you have access to. Some clients workout in a gym space, while others have minimal to no equipment at home.

However, if you have some resistance bands, a kettlebell or dumbbell and a bench or stable chair, there’s a lot more we can do!
